Now that the world is starting to open up again, we’re packing our bags for that long awaited trip! You may be caught up planning your outfits for your feed but don’t forget your skincare and other essential toiletries! I took the liberty to list down everything I need in my Toiletries Bag that you may need too for your next vacation.

Toiletries Bag
Invest in a Toiletries Bag that can hold all your toiletries, skincare and makeup all-in-one to save the hassle of digging through all the different compartments in your luggage, bag pack and pockets in a hurry. Nothing is worse than not being able to zip your bag or have some of your precious cream spill all over your belongings all because you tried to stuff your products in an already tight bag.

The Flat Lay Co Drawstring Bag is a good investment as it has ample space for all your toiletries and it even has compartments allocated for Brushes and Cotton Pads. It’s inner lining is made of plush material to protect your pretty product packaging and it’s machine washable.
Skin Care
It’s tempting to bring along your entire skin care stash for your trip but you can easily add on unnecessary weight and space in your baggage. Let’s narrow it down to the absolute essentials.

1x Travel Size Micellar Water
1x Serum
1x Multipurpose Moisturizer
1x Pack of Cotton Pads
1x Pack of Cotton Swabs
With these products, I can travel and trust that skin will still be at it’s best. Pack your favourite Micellar Water, Serum and Moisturizer into Travel Bottles so you won’t have to add on extra unnecessary weight and risk any product wastage. Always pack skincare products that are travel-size and multipurpose that can work for day and night use.

What is Micellar Water?
Solid Body Wash, Shampoo & Conditioner

Why solid soap for travel? It saves space, weighs less, less waste which results to saving money! We tend to get worried about running out of products and sometimes packing a lot more than we need only to return home with all that extra soap, shampoo and conditioner. Oasis Beauty Kitchen carries Bar Soaps and Solid Haircare that are not only useful for travelling, they are organic and homemade here in Singapore.
Hair Brush

My hair becomes a tangled mess after a day under the sun, long hours on the road or after any thrill-seeking activities but carrying around my favourite bulky hairbrush isn’t exactly ideal. That won’t be a problem when you have Tangle Teezer. It’s a compact size, it detangles knots and fizz on-the-go and they come in many designs too.
Travel Razor

Have you dug into your toiletries bag only to get cut by your razor? I have and it’s not pleasant. Gilette Venus Snap Razor is not only a handy size, it comes in a case so that you don’t risk cutting yourself! I also like that it has 5 curve-hugging blades to shave you close and water activated strip of moisture for a smooth glide.
Lip Balm

You’ll regret not having your trusted lip balm with you at all times especially dealing with changing temperatures when you travel. Lips are often the first to show signs of distress and it’s hard to remedy without a lip balm, no amount of lipstick can cover cracked lips and they are painful! Nuxe Reve de Miel Lip Moisturizing Stick is a travel-friendly size, fits right into the tightest spaces in my purse and I can apply it anywhere with no mirror and no fuss. It’s clear too so you can apply your lipstick after without it messing your favourite colour.
Sunblock

Whether you are going for a beach vacation or knee deep in snow, you NEED Sunblock. ANESSA Perfect UV Sunscreen SPF50+ PA++++ is my go-to because it’s suitable for face, body and sensitive skin. It’s packaging also makes it easy to reapply while I’m travelling and it’s consistency is smooth without leaving a white cast on my skin.
Deodorant

Another item that we absolutely need in our toiletry bag but takes up space. That is why NUXE Fresh-Feel Deodorant Balm is the best option for travel because all it takes is a little product to leave you feeling fresh all day. It’s packed in a tin slightly smaller than your palm so you can fit it easily in even the smallest travel pouch just in case you need to freshen up.
Toothbrush & Toothpaste

Never trust that every accommodation provides a toothbrush or toothpaste so it’s always wise to pack a kit with you! Whether it’s your Foreo Electric Toothbrush and Marvis Toothpaste or a simple Darlie Travel Kit, oral care is personal to each of us.
Menstrual Cup
If you’ve ever had your period while traveling, you know what a hassle it can be. I got a surprise period on the last day of my Bangkok trip while shopping in Chatuchak Market and was so thankful I had my LUÜNA Naturals Menstrual Cup with me! It helped me last through my flight back to Singapore without having the hassle of removing it or leaking! Truly life changing and a must-have in every female traveller’s bag.
