I have been in love with this French moisturizer for a long time now. In fact, the Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré was one of the first products that introduced me into the world of French Pharmacy Products and has been my personal favourite moisturiser since. And mind you, I’ve tried some high-end creams in the past but I somehow find myself coming back to this one.

Back when I was a Makeup Artist and skincare junkie, I wanted to try this product so desperately because it was (and still is) a cult product sworn by Dermatologist, Makeup Artist and Beauty Gurus everywhere but it wasn’t available in Singapore. The only way I could get it then was from visiting Paris and from Amazon. I’m glad that we caught up and have it readily available in Singapore now. If you have not heard about it, you might be wondering what the fuss is about.

What is it Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré?

Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré is a multi-functioning cream that works as a moisturiser, make-up primer and moisture mask suitable for all skin types. In addition, as the French do, I sometimes use it as my hand cream and after-shave on my legs and even on my knees and elbows. It comes in a squeeze tube that reminds you of vintage skin care and it’s simple formula has been around working its magic since the 1950s.

Main Ingredients

Shea Butter, Beeswax, Aloe Vera and Soy Protein.

Directions

Moisturiser: Apply a small amount over your face, neck and décolletage after your serum and before your sunblock day or night.

Makeup Primer: Just like you would apply your moisturiser.

Moisture Mask: Apply a thicker layer all over your face and leave it on for 10-15mins. Wipe off with tissue, no rinse.

Best for after a long day under the sun or post cosmetic surgery. It has a smooth creamy texture and it glides on the skin upon application. As I’ve always had combination skin, it balances out the moisture around my face effortlessly, I don’t have to use different creams around dryer/oiler parts of my face.

Since my skin took so well to Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, I’ve tried a few other Embryolisse products like Embryolisse Hydra-Cream Light which has since become my favourite but I still reach for my Lait-Crème as a primer for longer lasting makeup for special events, as my night cream and moisture mask because it works so well with most of the serums and treatments I have.

I feel so grateful to have graced my skin with this cream and how much it has helped overcome my acne and eczema issues through the years without breaking my wallet. I’m a lot more confident with my bare face now and you’d never guess I had skin issues thanks in part to this cream. Truly deserves the cult status.
