I’m terrified of bugs but I cannot use aerosol insecticides because they are so harmful to my dog, my plants and me. Besides, they smell horrible, nothing can mask the scent and it leaves me with headaches. I try to stay away from such pesticides but what do I do when I encounter freaky flying bugs or ants on my table especially during rainy seasons? Thank goodness I came across Organic Rid Spray while looking for a solution.
Why Organic Rid Spray?
It has raving reviews all over Shopee and I’ve seen it pop up on ads (probably since I keep searching for organic ways to get rid of pests so many times…), I was a bit sceptical. It claims to be safe to spray around food to keep flies and ants away, it even repels slugs and mealybugs from plants, spray some on your pillow and even on your head for ticks?! And it only costs $14?! What kind of sorcery is this?! I figured I should get it and try it out to see if the claims are true.
Claims to Eliminate
- Cockroaches
- Flies
- Ants
- Mosquitoes
- Ticks
- Termites
- Centipede
- Slugs
- Spiders
- Scorpions
Apparently Organic Rid Spray was used first mainly for farming crops that will be safe for animals that graze and for humans to consume but wipe out crop-killing pests. It’s water-based, odourless, colourless and contains no aerosol or harmful chemicals. It takes only a minute to take effect and it lasts for 3 to 5 days! Best part is that it’s safe to use at home, around food, pets, plants and children.
How I Use Organic Rid Spray
Upon receiving my first Organic Rid Spray, I wanted to test it on my 3 main issues – ants, fruit flies and the occasional lizard.
Ants
My home was practically ants-free for the past 2 years until I suddenly noticed some really tiny ones crawling on my counter top. I thought I was slacking back on my cleaning and decided to do a good wipe down every morning and night. I followed its trail and thought I’ve eliminated them but they once again appeared on my counter top. I was perplexed, which was what led me to look for an organic safe repellent.
I sprayed Organic Rid at the bottom of the kitchen counter, walls and even on the counter top since it was chemical-free. The next morning, areas where I would normally see ants were not there! Apparently, ants are attracted to grease which is harder to clean especially since my counter top is made of granite. So now, I spray Organic Rid every night to prevent ants.
Fruit Flies
Fruit Flies are really annoying and terribly hard to get rid of. I don’t know how they appear and once they find a spot in your home that they like, you can scrub your walls and swat them, they will somehow reappear. Since the Organic Rid claimed to repel flies, I thought to test it out by spraying it on my toilet walls and windows too every week. I haven’t spotted a fruit fly since.
Lizards
I think we have a resident lizard that lives in our block. Occasionally, I hear it on our balcony and service yard. It’s gross because it leaves its droppings in hard to reach areas so I often have to move racks and containers to clean up. I sprayed Organic Rid after one of these episodes and notice I haven’t seen droppings or hear it since.
Where to Use Organic Rid Spray
Use it anywhere and everywhere – in the kitchen, living room, bedroom, washroom and garden. You can even bring a small spray bottle with you to keep mosquitoes, flies, ants or creepy crawlies away on your picnic, in the car and at the beach.

Organic Rid Spray is available online on Shopee and Lazada.
