French Beauty Products

Remember back in 2015, I discovered French Pharmacy Beauty Products? It’s 2022 and I’m still using some of these products and have since added more to the list!

French Beauty Products

Everyone has their own list of favourite French Pharmacy Beauty Products. Here is a list of some of my holy grails.

Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Micellar Water

Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Micellar Water

Bioderma Sensibio Cleansing Micellar Water is my holy grail and nothing will ever come close to the OG of all Micellar Water. I was introduced to this queen back when I started working in the beauty industry and when you could only get them through Aesthetic Clinics. I’m glad though that it’s readily available in local pharmacies and online stores. It has a steeper price tag compared to other micellar water but I have an affinity to this one because it helped me through my acne breakout and without cracking my skin. Gentle, efficient and leaves no traces of grime or makeup.

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Caudalie Beauty Elixir

Caudalie Beauty Elixir is my skin’s little luxury. I’ll admit that I don’t use facial mists as often as I use to but it is the only facial mist that I’m willing to part with my money for. I use to go through bottles of this Beauty Elixir! It smells divine and very calming especially on a warm day out, a cramped room/vehicle and to freshen up that is why I carry a small bottle in my bag. I’ve tried other facial mists but they didn’t give me the calming effect the way the Beauty Elixir does. It was also my first product from Caudalie when it was first introduced to Singapore and I’ve since found a few other holy grail products in this French brand.

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Gel Cleanser is the newest to my list. I’ve always preferred gel cleansers compared to foam and cream ones due to my combination skin. I’ve tried other gel cleansers that fair well with my skin but I find myself going back to this one because I love the calming scent (like the Beauty Elixir), it doesn’t leave my skin squeaky dry and its clean packaging looks good on my counter.

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Mask

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Mask

Caudalie Vinopure Purifying Mask is my to-go Clay Mask. I use to love clay masks when I was younger but I started to detest them the older I got as most of them leave my skin so dry and they are a pain to remove. But this mask is a breeze to apply, comes off easily like a cleanser and leaves my skin feeling fresh and new, a great option for mature combination skin. It is fairly affordable too compared to other gentle clay masks in the market.

Embryolisse Hydra-Cream Light

Embryolisse Hydra-Cream Light is my favourite moisturizer out of the amazing variety that Emryolisse has to offer. Although I love the much raved about Lait-Creme, the Hydra-Cream Light doesn’t feel too heavy in my hot tropical Singapore climate. It makes my makeup look so flawless, it has no scent and is my safest option to use with The Ordinary Treatments (although I will still advice you do a patch test). The packaging of this one is plus point as it has a snap cover and very travel friendly.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Florale

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Florale Multi-Purpose Dry Oil

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Florale Multi-Purpose Dry Oil has got to be one of my most favourite beauty products ever! My top holy grail, I would cry if they ever discontinued, it’s an absolute gem. I have tried body oil prior to this and didn’t like it but this dry oil seeped into my skin and gave me a natural glow, you can’t tell it’s oil! I barely use body lotion since. And this one of hair is even better, no need for any hair serum or mist, it smells like spring every time I flip my hair. And if I feel too tired to put on too much skin care during a rest day, I just spritz this and rub it all over my face, neck, shoulders and decollate.

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Golden Shimmer

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Golden Shimmer Multi Usage Dry Oil

NUXE Huile Prodigieuse Golden Shimmer Multi Usage Dry Oil this one does everything the Huile Prodigieuse Florale Dry Oil with golden shimmer. I save this for vacations, beach days and a night out. You should see how amazing it looks under the sun (don’t forget your sunscreen though), *channels inner Bronze Goddess.

NUXE Baume Levres Reve De Miel Honey Lip Balm

NUXE Baume Levres Reve De Miel Honey Lip Balm

NUXE Baume Levres Reve De Miel Honey Lip Balm is the lip balm that saved my cracking chapped lips. For a period when I was working under the sun and exacerbated by changing hormones, my lips and jaw had a really bad eczema outbreak. I was able to moisturize my skin back to it’s normal state but I was helpless when it came to my lips. I tried every lip care but nothing made it better, in fact some even made it worse until I found this lip balm. It worked like magic, my lips stopped cracking and I was able to wear lipsticks again. I will never waste my time with any lip product ever again unless it is my NUXE lip balm.

I’m still pinching myself that it’s been years since I first discovered some of these French Pharmacy Beauty Products and I still swear by them. To think that I was worried I couldn’t find products that could match up to the high end serums and creams I was used to when I was making a career change and found these products that not only helped heal my skin, they are also friendly to my wallet. Let’s see if I’ll be adding on more to this list seven years from now?

If you’re new to the world of French Pharmacy Products, I hope this list has helped you with making your first purchase. You will be spoilt for choice but I promise it will be a happy problem.

Please Note: Not all these products can be found in Sephora or every pharmacy in Singapore, you may have to purchase some online. I’ve provided the links to the products at the cheapest prices available online that I purchase from myself, as I’m a bargain hunter and want the best for my skin at the best prices too.
