Welcome back to the next series of my experience at Integrated Health Centre at Funan. As mentioned in my previous post, I will be personally trying some of the services that IHC provides. In this session, I will be experiencing two therapies – Bio-Energy Therapy and Beauty Lifting Skincare Therapy.

Bio-Energy Therapy

In 1 session of Bio-Energy Therapy, you will experience 5 modalities at once in 1 hour to optimise the full outcome.

1. Microcurrent Therapy
2. Hydrogen Inhalation Therapy
3. Far Infrared Heating Pad Therapy
4. Pulse Electro-Magnetic Field
5. Whole Body Vibration Therapy

Don’t let the wires scare you, it was so comfortable, I fell asleep! All you have to do is lie down and electrodes will be placed on different parts of your body depending on your health conditions. Bio-Energy therapy uses bio-cybernetic technology to analyze the metabolic processes and produces a replica energy that closely resembles our body’s own energy (Chi). When the issue is pain, this is applied to the pain affected area.  The treatment provides the energy (ATP) for cells to heal and regenerate at a much faster rate. Regenerated, healthier cells naturally heal the source of pain.

During the session, you will hear light beeping and feel light vibrations all over your body from the Vibration Therapy that unclogs the lymphatic system.  Clogged lymphatic system is known to cause poor immunity, arthritis, back pain, headaches, depression, fatigue, excess weight and cellulite. Yes, you heard that right, you’re losing weight and all that bad energy by just napping here. The vibrations help the lymphatic system to carry harmful components away into the bloodstream so that the kidneys, lungs and colon can eliminate them, thus improving health and general well-being.

Beauty Lifting Skincare Therapy

The Beauty Lifting Skincare Therapy session was a calming facial mask which was so soothing and with all it’s scientific benefits.

It uses Far-Infrared Therapy for blood circulation and detoxification. Micro-currents are used to stimulate cells and re-educate muscles that tone and soften wrinkles. It rejuvenates cells, builds collagen and blood circulation using oxygen rich ingredients that provides your skin with essential oxygen, improving its capacity to absorb nutrients for restoration and maintain a youthful glow pain-free and effective.

I left IHC that day feeling absolutely rejuvenated and fresh that I was able to run my errands effortlessly and slept with ease that night. I’m already looking forward to my next experience at IHC Funan and do check back for the next session.
