Since getting the keys to our home, Shine and myself have been taking our time to build it with our favourite things. I’m incredibly excited to see it all come together.

I have a number of places that I’ve stepped foot on that mean so much to me and bring back memories but nothing will ever compare to our home. I don’t know what the future holds or how long we will live here but this home is really an answer to our prayers and I wanted to honour that with a customized map from Mapiful.

How to Customize your Map

1. Search the location with the GPS bar then zoom in to the area and adjust it to how you want it to look in frame.
2. Change the Headline, Divider and Tagline. I chose our neighbourhood, our city/country and left the tagline blank so it will display the coordinates.
3. Change the appearance and style. I chose to customize our map with the Legend theme in purple to match lavenders flowers that remind me of home.
4. Change the size and orientation to fit your preferance.

I even got the poster hanger in Oak for our map. Can’t wait for everything to be ready.

And if you’re wondering who that gentleman is, he’s my late paternal grandfather. I’ve carried a photo of him in my wallet for years until I lost it. I’ve always wanted a picture of him to carry with me but it made me feel guilty when I lost his photo and renting from place to place wasn’t exactly ideal. Finally, I get to have a picture of him framed up on the wall in our home amongst all the other bits of our memories in one place. Thank you Mapiful for allowing us to honour our favourite place.
