I’m now part of Clarins Circle. I’m elated because Clarins and I have gone way back from my time as a beauty advisor. Although, I was not a beauty advisor for Clarins, we use to try and recommend products from each other’s favourites list. Clarins has some products that have made it into my cult favourites that I hope to share with you on future reviews.

For my first products as an introduction into Clarins Circle, I chose to try the star products – Clarins Double Serum and Clarins Double Serum Eye.

Clarins Double Serum

Main Ingredients

Turmeric: Preserves communication between the skin cells.

Edelweiss: A form of antioxidant.

Ginger Lily: Includes anti-aging, anti-oxidant and protective properties.

Goji: Helps to boost the skin’s energy.

Huang Qi: Helps to combat oxidative stress.

Jania: Promotes the elimination of dead skin cells.

Leaf of Life: Hydrates by the natural production of hyaluronic acid by the skin.

Kiwi Fruit: Rich in vitamins C, A, B and E, and helps nourish skin.

Mango: Nutrition, comfort, softness.

Horse Chestnut: Its aescin helps to reduce puffiness.

Myrothamnus: Protects the skin from visible damage due to stress.

Orthosiphon: Helps to regulate sebum production and refine the texture of the skin.

Quinoa: Helps strengthen the skin’s barrier.

Glasswort: Hydrating.

Directions

1. Cleanse and dry face.
2. Apply toner or essence *optional.
3. Apply Clarins Double Serum onto skin.
4. Apply moisturiser.

Clarins Double Serum Eye

Main Ingredients

Turmeric: Helps preserve cellular communication and limit skin aging.

Horse Chestnut: Its aescin helps to reduce puffiness.

Ginger Lily: Boosts the skin’s natural hydration mechanisms.

Leaf of Life: Hydrates by the natural production of hyaluronic acid by the skin.

Kiwi Fruit: Rich in vitamins C, A, B and E, and helps nourish skin.

White Horehound: Protects skin from damage caused by indoor and outdoor pollution.

Avocado: Promotes regeneration of the skin and maintain its suppleness.

Oat: The sugars derived from organic oats have toning properties.

Furcellaria: Helps protect pollution-exposed skin against dehydration.

Succory Dock-Cress: Stimulates skin’s natural defences against environmental aggressors.

Directions

1. With tip of ring finger, take about a rice grain size of eye cream and rub it together.
2. Dab in under and the edge of your eyes and orbital bone. Do not rub, tug, pull or drag, light tapping will suffice.

Am I enjoying Clarins Double Serum?

I gave myself 7 days and nights of wear for both Clarins Double Serum and Clarins Double Serum Eye. A little really goes a long way for both these products as the consistency of these serums are thick but application is very smooth to the touch! I can see why they are star products for anti-aging and anti-wrinkles.

Although I don’t have much concern for wrinkles (yet, at least), I am very impressed with how smooth my skin and under eye feel after just a week. Highly recommended for those struggling with fine lines and wrinkles and I will keep these on the top of my mind for future purchases.
