Chanel’s Beauty Pop-Up has become kind of a yearly thing for me since Coco Cafe in 2017. Since then, many brands have started doing their own Insta-worthy pop-ups too. I’ve missed quite a handful but I try to make it to Chanel’s cuz it’s themes are always fun and different. This year, it was Coco Flash Club, a 80s-themed disco.

The pop-up this year was held in an actual club so we had to produce our ICs prior to entering even if you’ve registered. Which also means no kids. When we were allowed access, there was a small room where we could browse through vinyls and we could even listen to records when you put on the headphones. This room was actually the waiting room to enter the lounge and the walls would part to reveal the entrance to Coco Flash Club.
Every turn at Coco Flash Club was a photo opportunity and I really had fun pretending to be a cool 80s deejay, lol. But the highlight of my time here was really having to get up-close to the pieces from Chanel’s Spring Summer 2019 Collection.

I love how innovative Chanel Beauty Pop Ups get over the years and crowd control gets better too. The door gift this year was just a bottle of pink juice but not in their classic CC logos. You get some extra Chanel goodies if you made a purchase which, in a way, is great from deterring those who stop by only for the freebies. Can’t wait to see what Chanel will come up with next year.
