List of Designer Barbie Dolls

Every Fashion-loving girl has had at least one or a handful of Barbie Dolls growing up. Dressing her up with the array of clothes and miniature accesories that you’ve collected over the years (through Birthday and Christmas gifts) did eventually teach you how to doll yourselves up as adults. Barbie was undeniably my very first style guru.

If Barbie influenced your sense of style and you have a passion for fashion, then be prepared to blow your plastic heads off with this list of limited edition Barbie Dolls designed by some of our favourite fashion houses.

Anne Klein

Barbie is smartly attired for a day of high-powered and high style business in typical Anne Klein fashion. Accessories include a black belt with a lion head buckle, chain link gold tone necklace and gold tone link earrings, black purse with “Anne Klein” logo and black pumps.

Anna Sui

Clad in head-to-toe Anna Sui, Barbie is the picture of Bohemian chic. Her black, crochet-look shawl straight out of the 1970s! She pairs straight-cut, denim-type trousers tucked into faux suede cowboy boots embellished with butterflies.

Armani

Burberry

Barbie celebrates the proud tradition of the Burberry of London fashion label with the classic tan trench coat lined with signature Burberry plaid. Accessories include a matching plaid scarf with red reverse, plaid messenger bag, and black shoes with spats.

Calvin Klein

Barbie is dressed from head to toe in Calvin Klein! She wears a real denim skirt with an authentic CK label and her trendy grey crop top is covered by a denim jacket. Her accessories include an adorable back pack, a CK windbreaker with, of course, a big Calvin Klein logo on the back, sneakers and a baseball cap. Barbie by Christian Louboutin receives a complete head-to-toe Parisian makeover as envisioned by Christian. Inspired by legendary beauties such as Nefertiti and Marilyn Monroe, Barbie goes ultra modern glam with sleek makeup, a fiery red mane of luscious locks and, of course, Christian Louboutin shoes designed especially for Barbie! All shoes feature Louboutin’s signature red soles and each pair comes with a matching miniature shoe bag and box.

Coach

Barbie wears a Classic Trench in Tattersall, an exact replica of the popular Coach style, along with a striped sweater and an ultrasuede skirt. The turnlocks on the skirt are exact replicas of the Coach handbag turnlocks. But it’s her red Classic Duffle that marks a fashion milestone – this is Barbie’s first genuine leather bag made from start to finish in a Coach factory with the same care and attention given to every Coach bag and includes a drawstring dust bag too.

Donna Karen

Barbie wears a classic reproduction of a 1956 gown by world-famous fashion designer Givenchy known for upscale, elegant glamour.

Herve Ledger by Max Azaria

Juicy Couture

The designing duo of Juicy Couture responsible for the fashion revolution which lets women dress up while dressing down is the inspiration for the Juicy Couture Barbie. Pamela Skaist-Levy and Gela Nash-Taylor as Juicy Couture Barbie wear the signature tracksuit pieces and lots of other very juicy accessories! Both dolls wear matching re-creations of the layered silk chiffon dress that’s part of Juicy Couture’s Couture Couture line. Glamorous accessories include earrings, rings, necklaces, fab fur coats, and of course their signature bracelets, some of the most coveted accessories in Hollywood.

Karl Lagerfeld

Taking inspiration from the designer’s signature style, Barbie Lagerfeld is dressed in the designer’s likeness with accents taken from the real KARL LAGERFELD line.

Moschino

Rock & Roll couturier Philipp Plein was selected to create a 50th anniversary Barbie for the Feb 9th, 2009 world’s biggest toy fair in Nurnberg, Germany. The occasion was one-of-a-kind so Philipp gave Barbie the royal treatment. The dress was decorated by hand with 600-700 crystallised Swarovski Elements. Barbie Collector introduces a Platinum Label doll inspired by the OOAK creation only distributed at selected retailers in Germany as well as the House of Barbie in Shanghai and a very limited number in Canada and the United States.
