Good morning loves, it’s a great day to have a pampering session as I was in a dire need for facial and hair treatment after baking under the Krabi sun for days and my salon of choice is J Studios at Haji Lane.

J Studios was established in 2011 by founder Jerrie who has built the business up from a small beauty salon into what it is today with two elegantly themed outlets in Singapore which offer a wide range of products and services. J Studio’s flagship outlet has recently opened in trendy Haji Lane amongst hipster cafes and vintage shops. The outlet is a two-story shophouse decorated in French-Chic elegance complete with chandeliers, black and white tiles, miniature Eiffel Towers, flowers and sassy inspiring quotes! All my favourite things in one place!As you can see, almost every angle in the salon is Insta-Worthy and I cannot resist taking lots and lots of photos. Ok, let’s proceed to what I came here for – the treatments.

Amino Nano Hair Treatment

Like most ladies with long hair, I’ve done hair treatments before and they usually feel great on the first day and the fizz comes back after your next hair wash. But the Amino Nano Hair Treatment lasted more than a week especially more surprising because I have gotten my hair fried and fizzed out having too much fun swimming and tanning on the beach. My hair felt legit smooth, shiny and healthier in an instant! Can you see how the ends of my hair are glowing?

After the Hair Treatment, we proceeded to the 2nd floor of the salon for my facial session.

The 2nd floor of J Studios was just as pretty as the 1st. I loved how every Facial Room are themed after flowers, how can any girl resist this? I will patronize this salon just to be able to have a facial done in one of these rooms, bye-bye dingy old boring facial salons! I had my facial done in the Lavender Room covered in lavender coloured wallpaper, purple light and smelt like lavender too. Love, love, love!

This is my first time trying the Oxygen Facial Treatment and it felt so relaxing because there is no extraction! Don’t you just hate it when you pay hundreds for a facial package only to have people squeeze the life out of your face and walk around town with blotchy red forehead, nose and cheeks and you can’t even cover with makeup, so torturous and embarrassing right? Well, none of these at J Studios. I got an amazing shoulder massage followed my the treatment which just felt like a full facial massage session and I could rest and sleep from a tiring week which is what a #GIRLBOSS deserves. And the best part – the results! My face was glowing, smooth and so much more even! And if you ladies are going back to work or heading for some shopping after the session, you can apply your makeup! Now that is what I call pampering.Overall, I thoroughly enjoyed my sessions here at J Studios Haji Lane, really felt pampered and taken care of by the attentive beauticians who allowed me to relax during my sessions and with no hard-selling which is what I personally love from my treatments and I’m sure most of you would love too. What’s more, the location is very convenient, just hop in whenever you need your face fixed and you can head back to work. Or, you can be like me, I can literally spend the whole day here just pampering myself and then go for dinner with friends right after.
