Shine and myself watched Miss Saigon live on the opening day and it was one of the most moving performances we have ever experienced!
Cameron Mackintosh, Base Entertainment Asia, GWB Entertainment and Opera Australia presents Miss Saigon at The Sands Theatre, Marina Bay Sands, Singapore for a strictly limited season.

Miss Saigon

70 Major Theatre Awards,
one of the greatest musicals of all time
Seen by 38 million people, performed in 15 languages, in over 32 countries and 350 cities, Miss Saigon tells the story of a young Vietnamese woman named Kim, who is orphaned by war and forced to work in a bar run by a notorious character known as the Engineer. There, she meets and falls in love with an American G.I named Chris, but they are torn apart by the fall of Saigon. For 3 years, Kim goes on an epic journey of survival to find her way back to Chris, who has no idea he has fathered a son.
I have always been infatuated by the story of Miss Saigon as it gave me an insight into the love and tragedies of war. There were many scenes that left me trying to hold myself back from bawling, anxious in anticipation for what may happen next and in awe at the choreography and sets all at the same time! An epic performance I will not soon forget.
