Rare & Vintage Hermès Bags

Claire, my associate for the day, shared some of these rare and discontinued Hermès bags at Ginza Xiaoma Singapore that I am so excited to show you. Here are some of my favourites.

Kelly Doll in Orange Veau Gulliver Leather

This limited edition cutie – Kelly Doll – is one of my most favourite bags ever. Been eyeing it since 2015, when Hermès debuted a set of five exquisite Kelly Doll bags at the Leather Forever Exhibition in Singapore.

Kelly Picnic 35 in Osier Wicker and Fauve Barenia Leather

Summer picnics are what inspired Hermès to bring you the Kelly Picnic Bag. The wicker strands used in the Kelly Picnic are among the finest in the world that require extreme attention to detail and expertise during its crafting. 

Sacabar 25 in Black Epsom Leather

The Sacabar first-appeared in 2004 collection. It has a pen-shaped closure and a metal rod that slides into a leather hinge. It is used as a shoulder bag with an adjustable strap that is made from hunter cowhide. I was personally very amused by this beauty, a great choice if you would prefer something different from Kelly, Birkin and Constance.

Birkin 25 Matte Alligator in Apricot and Rose Shocking

This Birkin 25 is in the rare matte alligator leather in apricot with brushed gold hardware. Furthermore, it is ranked NS, which means it has never been used and has no signs of damage.

Kelly 28 Himalaya in Matte Nile Croc with Diamonds

Finally, the most expensive Hermès bag ever, the holy grail of handbags and a favourite of celebrities and socialites, the Himalayan Crocodile Birkin. A truly stunning piece that I had the honour to see and hold. Made from Matte Nile Crocodile and accentuated with sparkling 10.23 carat Diamond encrusted White Gold hardware with a blind stamp Z, made in 2021.

Whether you are a seller or buyer, you will definitely enjoy your time at Ginza Xiaoma. I certainly did! I learned so much from my time here and I couldn’t resist taking a picture with some of these vintage Kellies. There are many more rare and limited edition bags of course but you’ll have to see them for yourselves.
