I’ve been meaning to visit this quaint little cafe for a while now and I’m so glad we finally did. Tucked in between a row of shophouses in Bukit Pasoh Road, The Reading Room is the place where you can enjoy a meal and immerse yourself in a good book amongst vintage artefacts. Made me wanna stay there all day. I was pleasantly surprised to find a wide selection of old books, how charming! Spotted Vincent Hugo’s Les Misérables and it accompanied us through our time there.

Himalayan Salt Coffee $5
Nymph of the Nile $6.80
White Peony Tea with Persian Rose and Egyptian Basil
Norwegian Royale $19.80
Smoked Salmon, French Style Scrambled Eggs (no milk added), French Butter, Arugula on 2 French Toasts
The Works $24.80
Bacon, Smoked Bratwurst, Ham, 2 Eggs, Sautéed Mushrooms, Potato Hash, French Toast, Grilled Tomato

Mandatory couple shot for #MrMrsPrashant and yes, the man has a new hair-do. The Reading Room is great place to go for a afternoon date and wind down after a tiring week. It’s even better if you have the KopiPass App.

I just had to wear my $2 Vintage Dress that I got from the Thrift Store with my round reading glasses to The Reading Room. I was thinking if I should write a guide to Thrift Shopping in Singapore since I’ve gotten a ton of DMs after I shared some tips on IG Story.
