Matilda The Musical is based on Roald Dahl’s book about a strong-willed and determined heroine who grew up in a home where she is not appreciated and uses her vivid imagination to survive and help others around her.
The cast delivered an outstanding performance, the audience was gasping in anticipation and roaring with laughter in almost every scene, it is really hard to pick a favourite. Some scenes such as My Home got me tearing and almost every part with the Wormwoods made me cackle! Matilda The Musical, brought me on an emotional rollercoaster and I was hooked throughout the duration of the production. Shine and I thoroughly enjoyed it and it seemed like the audience did too as they got a booming standing ovation at the end.
