ToriYard at Bishan Park

I was invited by The Hedgehog Knows along with Foodwanderers, Jesq Lee and Kenpgl to try out ToriYard’s new dinner menu specially crafted by the executive chef, Hasewaga Isao.

The ambience of ToriYard is posh yet casual and you can choose to dine inside and watch as the chefs cook your dinner or you can choose to dine outside and enjoy the landscape. Perfect for a date night or with the family. Take note though that it is much easier to get here by car compared to taking the MRT so you might wanna book a Grab or drive and drop off at Bishan Park 2, ToriYard will be greeting when you exit your car.

The menu showcases over 23 brand new items that features a variety of classic and innovative dishes. Here are some from the appetizing menu that we had the opportunity to indulge in.

My overall experience here was great! I especially loved the ambience, everyone at the table were in a great mood and I cannot get over the dishes! My favourites are the Tebasaki Gyoza, Wagyu Sumiyaki, Ika Maruyaki, Tsukune and the Buta Karamiso Zousui (which is almost the whole menu, lol). The staff attended to us very well too, refilled our drinks as soon as they were about to be empty and we can even choose to change drinks. I stuck to my Japanese Green Tea though, my favourite.

I’m seriously thinking of coming back although I hope they will still be as attentive and the food will still taste just as amazing as I remember it to be when I’m back with my family.
