The Passport Project

At Changi Airport, Singapore going to Colombo.

At Changi Airport, Singapore to Colombo (08AUG13).

I had recently renewed my passport in April and got myself a cover too from Victoria’s Secret. Its gold and shiny with the words ‘Bon Voyage’ (‘have a good trip’) imprinted on it to celebrate all my new adventures.

I’ve always wanted to travel but certain circumstances in the past have held me back. I looked through my old passport and studied the stamps on each page. Most were of Johor Bahru and only a few were of countries outside of Malaysian states. It was just the right time this year that I was able to renew my passport. So I told myself that I should make this my new project. I want to collect as many stamps from various countries around the world till my passport expires on 25th April 2018. Lets see how many stamps from how many states/countires I can acquire by then. So that when I have that moment again to sit down and look at those stamps on each page, I can recall all the amazing memories I’ve had while travelling and the moments I’ve shared with my travel companions which, aside from photographs, are one of the best souvenirs.

I was blog hopping and found a post made by Lucy Dodsworth – My A to Z Travel. It was very interesting and inspiring, it made me want to do the meme too! It’ll be a post to wait till after April 2018 though.

Goal: Collect 10 different stamps.
Trips: Twice per year.
Expires: 25 APR 2018.

Wish me luck on my passport project and hope to share with you as many of my new adventures as I possibly can.
